Surface-Mounted Balustrades

Our surface-mounted balustrade systems pair structural performance with a clean, contemporary aesthetic. Key design features include:

  • Precision‑engineered friction spigots grip the panel edge and form the support that suspends the glass 30 – 100mm above the surface, allowing water to drain and preventing debris build-up
  • Glass is specified to suit the fall‑height rating, typically 12 mm clear toughened glass for falls up to 5m and 13.52 mm or thicker structural laminated safety glass for higher falls
  • An interlinking handrail, required under Australian Standards, provides structural continuity and can be specified as a slimline metal toprail, a timber toprail, or a handrail fixed to the inside face with brackets
  • 316L marine‑grade stainless steel spigots and handrails deliver long‑term durability in coastal and outdoor environments
  • Hardware finishes include Polished Stainless Steel, Satin Stainless Steel, Matte Black, and Matte White, with custom colours also available
  • Minimalist cover plates conceal surface fixings for a clean, detail‑driven finish
  • Optional EnduroShield® treatment helps protect surfaces from environmental wear and reduces cleaning effort by repelling water, dirt, salt, and grime
