Pool Fences
Glass is a popular choice for modern pool fencing because it maintains visibility into the water zone while creating an unobtrusive boundary that complements contemporary landscaping and architecture.
While pool fences and balustrades often use similar hardware and installation methods, the compliance requirements differ. Balustrades must meet higher load‑bearing and impact‑resistance standards, which typically necessitate additional fixings, handrails, and in some cases higher‑specification glass. Pool fences, on the other hand, follow a different set of minimum height requirements — including a mandated overall height of 1200 mm — along with access‑control rules that shape how the systems are applied.
We offer a variety of configurations, all designed to integrate seamlessly with surrounding materials and detailing to deliver a cohesive, considered finish. Some of the key features include:
- Surface‑mounted systems use precision‑engineered friction spigots to grip the panel edge and create a secure base fix. This suspends the glass 30–100 mm above the surface, allowing water to drain freely and preventing debris build‑up, while side‑fixed and channel‑set systems offer alternative installation options suited to specific structural conditions or design requirements
- 12 mm toughened safety glass is used as standard, and we also offer hybrid designs featuring glass and aluminium fencing for projects that require mixed materials or specific zoning solutions
- 316L marine‑grade stainless steel hardware is used throughout for long‑term durability in coastal and outdoor environments. Finish options include Polished Stainless Steel, Satin Stainless Steel, Matte Black, and Matte White, with custom colours available for projects requiring a tailored architectural palette
- Gates follow the same design principles, with soft‑close hinges and a self‑latching mechanism that ensures smooth movement and secure closure
- Optional EnduroShield® treatment helps protect glass from environmental wear and reduces cleaning effort by repelling water, dirt, salt, and grime
