Channel-Set Balustrades

Channel‑set balustrade systems are minimalism in its purest form, offering the most seamless aesthetic of all fixing methods.

  • Structural glazing channels secure the glass along its base, creating a clean, continuous glazing line with a uniform edge profile, and in-set channels offer the added benefit of an invisible fixing
  • While channel‑set systems deliver the purest minimalist finish, they can be less suitable for outdoor applications as they do not allow for drainage or debris build-up
  • Glass is specified to suit the fall‑height rating, typically 12 mm clear toughened glass for falls up to 5m and 13.52 mm or thicker structural laminated safety glass for higher falls
  • An interlinking handrail, required under Australian Standards, provides structural continuity and can be specified as a slimline metal top-rail, a timber top-rail, or a handrail fixed to the inside face with brackets
  • Metal handrails are fabricated from 316L stainless steel for exceptional durability in coastal and outdoor environments and are available in finishes include Polished Stainless Steel, Satin Stainless Steel, Matte Black, and Matte White finishes, with custom colours also available
  • Optional EnduroShield® treatment helps protect surfaces from environmental wear and reduces cleaning effort by repelling water, dirt, salt, and grime
